Plain terms for a simple purchase.
01The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”) for the SefaShare app and website. By downloading, installing or using SefaShare you agree to them. If you use SefaShare for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.
02Your license
When you buy SefaShare you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on up to [2] Macs that you personally use. It’s a one-time purchase — no subscription.
- You can move your license to a new Mac by deactivating an old one (or emailing us).
- Team or volume licenses are available — email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
- The app stays ours; you’re buying the right to use it, not the software itself.
03Free trial
SefaShare includes a 7-day free trial with every feature unlocked and no payment details required. When the trial ends, the app asks for a license before you can start a new protected session.
04Buying and taxes
Purchases are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER], which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. That means they handle checkout, payment, sales tax/VAT and invoices, and their checkout terms also apply to the transaction. Prices are shown at checkout in your currency and may include tax.
05Refunds
If SefaShare isn’t right for you, email [SUPPORT EMAIL] within 14 days of purchase with your order number and we’ll refund you in full. No questions, no forms.
After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, except where your local consumer law gives you more rights — in which case the law wins.
06Updates
Your license includes all 1.x updates — bug fixes, compatibility updates and improvements — at no extra cost. A future major version (2.0) may be offered as a paid upgrade; your 1.x version will keep working with the macOS versions it supports.
07What SefaShare can and can’t protect
SefaShare removes the windows you choose from its Audience View. That protection only applies to what you share through that window.
- Always check SefaShare’s status before and during a call. It shows Protected only while filtered frames are flowing, and turns red within about a second if something goes wrong.
- Notifications, pop-ups and windows that appear on the shared display may be visible unless you’ve chosen to hide that app.
- macOS updates, other apps or hardware changes can affect screen capture. We work to keep up, but can’t promise SefaShare will work in every setup.
You are responsible for what you share in your meetings.
08Fair use
Please don’t:
- share, resell or publish license keys, or bypass licensing
- reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it
- use SefaShare to break the law, or to record or present others in ways that need their consent without getting it
09Other companies’ apps
SefaShare works alongside apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Slack. Those names are trademarks of their owners; SefaShare isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them, and their own terms apply when you use them. Apple, Mac, macOS and ScreenCaptureKit are trademarks of Apple Inc.
10Disclaimer
We work hard to make SefaShare reliable, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
11Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses — including something appearing on a shared screen, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to SefaShare is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
12Ending the agreement
You can stop using SefaShare at any time by deleting it. We may end your license if you seriously break these terms (for example, by sharing license keys); if that happens, you must stop using the app. Sections about refunds, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and can bring claims in your local courts.
14Changes and contact
If we update these terms we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Changes don’t apply retroactively to purchases you’ve already made.
